LOCATION
LOCATION
This year’s Marriage Conference will be held again at Heights Community Church in Collinsville, IL. Coffee and water will be made available with snacks provided. Sanctuary will be set up in a tables and chairs configuration instead of the chairs being placed in rows.
HOTELS
With the event being held in Collinsville, the demand for hotel rooms has been very low for the past 2 years. Instead of HCC setting up a block of rooms, we are leaving the decision for which hotel you'd like to stay at up to you!
***We still strongly encourage couples to stay at a hotel to avoid the temptation to tackle chores when returning home, create space for intimate conversation with your spouse, and time to connect.

SPEAKER
JOHN RYAN
John Ryan serves as the Pastor of Leadership Development at Matthias’ Lot Church in St. Charles, Missouri. He and his wife, Fran, have been married for over thirty years and share a love for investing in people and encouraging others toward a deeper walk with Jesus. John and Fran have two grown sons who are both married. John grew up in Texas near South Padre Island, where he spent his time surfing, playing basketball, and enjoying ultimate frisbee. In 1998, he moved to O’Fallon, Missouri, to plant The Summit Church.
In 2018, a vision to help the churches of St. Louis develop and deploy servant leaders led him to be sent from The Summit and join the staff of Matthias’ Lot Church. During his time at Matthias’ Lot, John has helped birth the Servant Leader Institute, a discipleship and leadership development initiative.
John has a deep passion for cultivating disciple-making leaders and helping the church live with a growing awareness of the presence of God. Today, he is heavily invested in mentoring emerging leaders and church planters.
John is known for his pastoral warmth, practical insight, and steadfast commitment to long-term faithfulness.
WORSHIP
JEFF NAIL
HEIGHTS WORSHIP BAND
This year, we are excited to welcome back Pastor Jeff Nail, along with the Heights Worship Band to lead in worship. Jeff serves as the Pastor of Worship + Arts, where he disciples and equips musicians, vocalists, and tech teams to lead the church in Christ-centered worship. He and the Heights team carry a deep desire to help people encounter the presence of God through Scripture-anchored songs, heartfelt moments of reflection, and joyful praise.
The Heights Worship team is passionate about creating an environment where the church can sing with unity, honesty, and expectation. As part of this event, Jeff and the team are especially eager to help couples engage in worship together—lifting their voices side by side, strengthening their spiritual unity, and drawing closer to Jesus and to one another. Their leadership is marked by humility, excellence, and an unwavering desire to point every heart to the beauty, goodness, and faithfulness of Christ.
